RollinGreens, the plant-based food company known for its better-for-you comfort food alternatives, is expanding its retail presence into new Kroger and Walmart stores this summer.

First introduced at retail in May 2015, RollinGreens’ products are 100% clean, gluten-free, whole, allergen-friendly, and vegan, made from sustainable crops and never produced in a lab. Their products include Millet Tots, the only ancient whole grain potato alternative on the market, and crispy cauliflower “wings.” The brand’s expanded retail footprint reflects the growing health and wellness trend and consumer demand for real, less processed, plant-based foods, an increase of 11.4% in the past year according to the Plant Based Foods Association and The Good Food Institute.

Beginning August 1st, RollinGreens will introduce its Teriyaki and Spicy Green Buffalo Wings to 340 stores in 11 states nationwide owned by The Kroger Co. including Ralph's, King Soopers, Fry's, Fred Meyer, Smith's, Quality Food Center and more. In mid-September 2020, Walmart will add Mustard and Teriyaki Cauliflower Wings and Millet Tots in both the Onion & Sea Salt and Garlic & Basil flavors to stores in 25 states. RollinGreens is currently available in approximately 2000 stores in 36 states, and with the expansion to Kroger and Walmart will be available in around 4000 stores in 44 states nationwide.

“From a food truck to the freezer aisle, we have always been passionate about offering healthy and delicious options without sacrificing on taste, and to play a small role in helping consumers choose better-for-you options the whole family will enjoy,” says Lindsey Cunningham, CEO and Co-Founder of RollinGreens. “We are thrilled to be expanding our retail presence to allow more families across the United States to enjoy clean food alternatives they can feel good about.”

In addition to Kroger and Walmart, RollinGreens products are currently available nationwide through retailers including Whole Foods, Wegmans, Central Market, and more independent grocery stores.

On May 15th, 2020, RollinGreens appeared on Shark Tank winning favor from ‘Shark’ Robert Herjavec which increased traffic on the brand’s e-commerce site by 40,000%. RollinGreens is also a QVC top-rated brand whose products have sold out twice and have been nominated for a 2020 QVC Customer Choice Food Award in the category of ‘Best Plant-Based Food.’

About RollinGreens

RollinGreens is a chef-led, clean label and 100% plant-based food company offering delicious comfort food flavors in the clean, whole food space. Founded by CEO Lindsey Cunningham and her husband, Head Chef and Chief Innovation Officer, Ryan Cunningham (known as Chef Ko), RollinGreens is elevating the frozen food category and pursuing their mission to provide better-for-you alternatives to the many chemical-, fat- and calorie-laden snack foods on the market. Founded in 1980 by Chef Ko’s family, RollinGreens originated as Boulder, Colorado’s first organic food truck and served the community for three years. In 2011, Lindsey and Ryan revitalized the business as a food truck and catering service, serving plant-based alternatives to America’s favorite (but less-than-healthy) comfort foods. Today, RollinGreens is a Certified Women Owned business committed to fulfilling their mission of playing a small role in a cultural shift of Americans making healthier food choices that they can feel good about, without sacrificing the flavors they love.
