 The 300,100-square-foot facility will serve as one of the largest industrial kitchens in the U.S., enabling Factor to provide more customers with healthy, premium, and convenient ready-to-eat meals right to their doorsteps.

Over the last two decades, Longbow Advantage, R&FF’s 2023 Logistics Provider of the Year, has assisted F&B leaders including General Mills, PepsiCo and Driscoll’s with their warehouse operations.

The facility will support the Blue Bunny, Halo Top, Bomb Pop and Blue Ribbon Classics brands.

The new DC replaces an aging facility and will incorporate the latest in leading warehouse technology to increase efficiency in selecting, packing, and loading processes. 

 Implementing an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) can offer significant advantages in such environments. 

There are 27,000 pallet positions and blast freezing capacity planned for the 198,000-square-foot facility. 

Expected to open in 2025, it will be among the largest automated CPG distribution centers in North America.

 The 53,000-square-foot processing plant sits on 10 acres and was operated by Clemens Food Group until late 2022.
