J. P. Veggies Inc., Parsippany, N.J., a natural and vegetarian foods processor, announced that it has acquired the Franklin Farms, North Fankliln, Conn., brand of vegetarian products.

Stellar, Jacksonville, Fla., said it expects by next fall to complete a 225,000-square-foot frozen entree plant for H.J. Heinz Co. in Florence, S.C.
