The new facility marks the company's fourth greenhouse on the site and cements Little Leaf Farms' McAdoo site as the largest indoor farming operation for leafy greens.
The 48,006 square-foot facility will offer HPP tolling, packaging, labeling, cold storage and logistics support services to manufacturers across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana.
Using the most advanced technology, the facility has the capacity to process 200 million pounds of potatoes per year, producing more than 100 varieties of frozen potato products.
