Tyson Foods announced the appointment of Dr. Claudia Coplein to the newly-created role of Chief Medical Officer. Coplein is a physician executive who brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to the company after holding leadership roles in the insurance, global manufacturing, healthcare and technology fields. Her immediate focus will be assisting the company’s efforts to protect team members during the Covid-19 pandemic, while also working to expand and promote a culture of health, safety and wellness at Tyson.

Chobani, maker of Greek yogurts, oat milks, probiotic drinks, and creamers, announced the debut of the new World of Chobani Probiotics, a full portfolio of probiotic yogurts and drinks, kids pouches and shakes, and non-dairy functional beverages with immunity-supporting probiotics. Chobani also added new items to the company's batch-made oat-based platform, including the vegan-friendly Chobani Oat Zero Sugar1 with 0 grams of sugar and two new Chobani Oat Coffee Creamers.

Danone North America's Two Good Yogurt is tackling food waste with the introduction of its Good Save product line, wrapping a year of commitment to positive impact for people and the planet for the brand. In partnership with Full Harvest, Two Good 'Good Save' uses Verified Rescued Produce to create lower sugar yogurt products with the goal of reducing food waste at the farm level. The product line is setting the standard for the emerging rescued foods market and is the first dairy product to utilize 100% Verified Rescued Produce. The initial offering features Meyer Lemons that are 100% verified rescued, with plans to launch additional flavors in 2021 and beyond.
