Restaurant-inspired ready-to-eat salads
Bonduelle Fresh Americas, Irwindale, Calif., debuted new Bonduelle Fresh Picked ready-to-eat salads packed with protein and packaged with Fresh Air Seal technology to extend the shelf life for the Canada market.
Each of the five varieties feature crisp farm-fresh leafy greens, seasoned meats like chicken, turkey and ham, dressings and a variety of toppings such as cheese, vegetables or crumbled bacon.
“We know Canadian consumers want healthier, convenient, fresh meal options with the flavors that satisfy their appetites and taste buds,” says Jeff Haines, executive chef. “Each of the salads in this new lineup offers just that − cravable flavors Canadian consumers demand, farm-fresh veggies and packed with protein for a satisfying lunch.”
Each salad comes ready-to-eat – including the fork – with all of the ingredients separated to maintain crispness and freshness. Plus, each variety comes in under 310 calories with between 9-18 grams of protein.
Bonduelle Fresh Picked salads come in Caesar Salad with Chicken and Bacon, Greek Inspired with Chicken, Cobb Salad with Turkey and Bacon, Chef Inspired with Turkey and Ham and Santa Fe Style with Chicken.
Canadian consumers can find them in the produce aisle of Loblaw stores – Loblaws, Zehrs, Provigo, Maxi & Cie and others – in Quebec and Ontario provinces, as well as in the Maritimes.
