Darien, Conn.-based cheesemaker Norseland Inc. introduces Jarlsberg brand hickory-smoked cheese. 

Featuring the same mild, mellow and nutty Jarlsberg taste with a subtle yet flavorful smoky flavor and aroma, this specialty cheese item is ideal for enhancing snacks, appetizers, sandwiches and cheese platters or pairing with a pale ale.

This cheese is cold-smoked over smoldering hickory chip embers to infuse, and the natural production process gives the cheese a light caramel-colored surface.
