Chicago-based Load Delivered Logistics added 24,000 square feet and 60 new jobs to its River North office. By the end of 2016, the company aims to grow to over 250 team members.
“The Midwest has always been a major hub for the supply chain industry specifically focusing on frozen food and meat companies,” says Robert Nathan, chief executive officer. “There is a tremendous need for reliable temperature-controlled transportation providers. We chose to specialize in this mode of shipping when we founded the company during the 2008 recession. People weren’t buying plasma TVs, but they still needed to eat.”
