Back by popular demand, AAPA and the U.S. Maritime Administration are co-sponsoring this special one and a half day workshop, hosted by the Tampa Port Authority. The program will address shifting international trade routes and how the various players in the transportation industry view the fallout of the recent economic recession. The program will also focus on how trade patterns and infrastructure needs will be affected by the planned expansion of the Panama Canal.
Speakers will address the international economic outlook and shifts in global trade; discuss infrastructure needs from the perspective of cargo owners, ocean carriers, ports, terminal operators, warehouse and distribution centers, and rail interests, and provide an update on the project to expand the Panama Canal.
There will be significant changes in worldwide trade lanes in the next few years. Don't miss this one-of-a kind program.
