The International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) will be held January 28 – 30 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. IPPE is the world's largest annual display of technology, equipment, supplies and services used in the production, processing and packaging of eggs, meat and poultry and those involved in feed manufacturing.
Here’s a look at some of the relevant cold chain companies exhibiting at IPPE in 2025.
Amcor, a global leader in developing and producing responsible packaging solutions, will exhibit in booth C-34139, including Moda Loader, which optimizes film consumption on multi-product packing lines and Moda Bag, AI vision technology scans products and dispenses customized bag sizes, reducing waste. Other items on display include rotary vacuum packaging. Joining the Amcor booth this year, Harpak-ULMA Packaging will demonstrate with the Moda system.
Nord Drive Systems will exhibit at the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) in booth B 38075, offering a modular product system with over 20,000,000 standard options, enabling configuration of solutions that precisely meet application requirements without the need for costly custom components. Their poultry and meat processing solutions include hygienic, smooth surface gear motors, versatile electronic motors, intelligent variable frequency drives, drop-in ready overhead conveyor drives and more.
MHM Automation, a New Zealand-founded company owned by Houston-based Fortifi Food Processing Solutions, has launched innovative robotic systems for secondary meat processors. The company’s proprietary robotic de-palletizing and de-boxing systems are designed to streamline front-end production line processes. These solutions automate the preparation of bulk meat products for further processing, delivering significant safety and efficiency gains.
Visitors can find them at the Fortifi Food Processing Solutions booth (C-37141), alongside sister companies Bettcher, Frontmatec, Cantrell·Gainco, Greenline Poultry Parts, Lima, Nothum, Reich, and technology partner Völur.
JLS (booth C-42151) will be exhibiting hygienic packaging machines for meat and poultry products, including its Talon primary loading system gently load sausage into MAP trays on a Ross tray sealer. Sealed trays are then efficiently loaded into cases by the hygienic, robotic Osprey TL case packer. This case packer loads a variety of trays into cases with ease and accuracy, including MAP, sleeved, VSP or lidded trays.
Ossid (C-31127) will demonstrate the speed and accuracy of its NextGen 2115 Weigh Price Labeler, as well as its impressive lineup of tray overwrapping, tray sealing, and theromoforming machines at IPPE 2025. Additionally, an exciting new initiative to the show is Ossid’s Customer Care Center, a dedicated space for customers to meet with Ossid’s aftermarket team to learn how its parts and service can help keep their packaging machines operating at peak performance.
Eagle Product Inspection, a global leader in advanced inspection and product safety solutions. Visitors to booth C-44183 will have the opportunity to explore Eagle’s latest innovations designed to enhance food safety and quality in the meat and poultry industry. A key highlight of Eagle’s exhibit will be the new MAXIMIZER RMI+, an advanced system engineered specifically for poultry processing. This innovative solution pairs the Eagle RMI 540 X-ray inspection machine with an automated product reject management system to deliver exceptional throughput and detection capabilities. Equipped with Eagle’s proprietary SimulTask PRO image analysis software and photon-counting Performance X-ray Technology (PXT), the MAXIMIZER RMI+ excels in detecting bone fragments, metal, and other contaminants. By capturing high-resolution images and performing real-time analysis within a fraction of a second, it significantly reduces false rejects, minimizes manual intervention, and optimizes production processes.
Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection Group will exhibit a wide range of inspection technologies in booth C-24159, including the new X52 dual energy X-ray inspection system, which delivers advanced detection capabilities at an attractive price point. To optimize performance for each application, the X52's proprietary software offers increased flexibility by seamlessly transitioning between single energy, dual energy or both modes. Also on display is the X36 DXD+, which offers unrivalled detection of hard-to-find contaminants such as calcified bone in textured and overlapping product applications.
A new 200,000-square-foot molded fiber facility recently opened in Ohio will highlight the TekniPlex Consumer Products booth (B-34033). Among the novel technologies featured at the plant will be a proprietary fiber production process allowing for stronger, better-quality final products with enhanced protective properties – a differentiator particularly in the egg carton space, but also for several other food categories. Notably, the spacious, multilane Ohio plant parallels new high-performance molded fiber production lines at TekniPlex’s facility in Apodaca, Mexico. From a meat and poultry solutions perspective, at IPPE TekniPlex Consumer Products will showcase its range of materials-diverse innovations, including those designed to address recent government initiatives to phase out conventional polystyrene trays.
Triangle (booth C-33129) will showcase food-safe packaging equipment that is ideal for a wide variety of meat and poultry products, including a belt-fed fresh poultry weigher and vertical form fill seal (VFFS) baggers that make running different products simple with a unique sealing jaw carriage that rotates in seconds for quick changeovers. These hygienic baggers can run traditional pillow bags or 3-sided seal pouches, including recloseable packages with a transverse zipper, zipper tape, longitudinal zipper and pre-applied zipper.
