Service Cold Storage, LLC, and Tippmann Group, Fort Wayne, Ind., broke ground on a new cold storage warehouse facility at 5700 E.M. Copps Tippmann cold storage renderingDrive in Stevens Point, Wis. The new facility will serve as a frozen distribution warehouse, covering nearly 157,000 square feet and creating 30 new jobs in the community.

The New East Park location allows us the ability to expand and grow in the ever-prospering economic community of Portage County and Stevens Point, Wis.”

The warehouse, which is scheduled to be completed in June 2014, includes 126,982 square feet of frozen storage space, an 18,700-square-foot shipping/receiving dock, maintenance and material handling areas totaling 4,166 square feet, a 2,813-square-foot machine room and a 4,200-square-foot office.
