New York-based Mikey’s Muffins developed what is said to be the first low-calorie, multi-purpose English muffins that are gluten-, dairy-, soy- and grain-free.

Made from just six simple and recognizable ingredients, each muffin is less than 100 calories and contains only 1 net carb, 3 grams of dietary fiber and 5 grams of protein.

“The gluten-free market can be a saturated one, so I wanted to bring something different to consumers,” says Michael Tierney, founder and CEO. “While people turn to paleo and allergy-free diets for different reasons, the restrictions can make meals or grab-and-go eating difficult. The versatility of Mikey’s Muffins brings that freedom back by offering a tasty base for your favorite sandwich or brunch dish.”

Mikey’s Muffins are available in Original, Toasted Onion and Cinnamon Raisin, and are available in more than 1,500 stores nationwide.
