High Liner Foods, Portsmouth, N.H., launched Street Style Seafood, a new line of seafood products sold under the FPI brand for the U.S. foodservice market.

These chef-inspired offerings are available in non-traditional venues such as food trucks, pop-up restaurants and grab-and-go kiosks for all-day flexible eating appeal.

Included in the new line are:

Shrimpanadas. Available in Shrimp & Chipotle Pepper, Shrimp & Black Bean and Shrimp & Mango Salsa, varieties, this item combines global flavors and America’s favorite seafood with handmade seafood empanadas for catering or as a fun appetizer plate.

Fish N’ Chips On A Stick. Available on a stick and as a strip, this item features hand-cut cod strips coated with a crispy French Fry coating.

Tempura Battered Sushi. These bite-size California rolls are tempura battered for a crunchy take on sushi, ideal for appetizers or in combination plates.

Classic Sushi. High Liner Foods’ California Roll includes Surimi, carrots and creamy avocado, and gives operators the thaw-and-serve simplicity for back-of-house ease.

“Our Street Style Seafood line satisfies today’s consumer and operator desire to have more tasty menu options besides traditional sit-down entrée meal occasions,” saysCarolyn Piscatelli, senior brand manager. “These items are on-trend and leverage the exciting global cuisine culture preferred by Millennials.”
