Reser’s Find Foods, Beaverton, Ore., debuted its newest refrigerated products, a lineup of value-added salads and kits for both grab-and-go purchases and behind the deli case glass merchandising.
“Consumers want cost-effective yet healthy and flavorful prepared foods they can pick up from the deli on the way home,” says Brenda Killingsworth, retail trade manager. “We help deli operators strike the perfect balance between offering specialty products and core deli salads. Consumers have a growing appetite for grain-based salads, ethnic salads and healthier options. Our new salads and kits offer convenience, variety and delicious flavors.”
New products include:
Loaded Potato Salad. Just like a loaded baked potato but without the extra work. Russet potatoes, large shreds of cheddar cheese, bacon bits and creamy dressing and herbs make this a family favorite.
BBQ Smokehouse Beans. Hearty baked beans with shredded beef in a slightly sweet and savory sauce. Can be served hot or cold.
Curry Ginger Couscous. Fluffy couscous tossed with garbanzo beans, raisins, green onion, red bell pepper and flavored with curry and ginger.
Low-Fat Greek Yogurt Potato Salad. Red skin potatoes, celery and red onion in a light Greek yogurt dressing with a hint of dill and parsley.
Loaded Mashed Potato Kit. Creamy mashed potatoes mixed with savory bacon bits and shredded cheddar cheese.
Sensational Sides Buttermilk & Chives Mashed Potatoes. This rich russet mashed potato side dish is topped with chives.
Fresh Creative Baked Brie En Croutes. Rich double cream Brie cheese wrapped in brioche dough, baked golden brown and topped with a variety of chutneys like, Cranberry Orange, Apricot Cranberry, Peach Raspberry and Caramel.
Fresh Creative Torta Cheese Balls. Hand-rolled cream cheese balls, perfect for snacking, holidays, special gatherings. A variety of flavored cream cheeses are layered with additional cheeses and savory spices to create flavors like Bacon Ranch Cheddar, Mediterranean Feta, Pesto Parmesan and Spicy Taco.
